On the occasion of the annual ERCA (European Ropes Course Association) meeting the second European Jumar Trophy was held in Baarlo, Netherlands, February 12th, 2008. It was not only about fun and competition - the exchange of experience of different techniques and materials used can be ranked even higher. The event was organized by outdoorconcept, Siebert Consulting and KaNYaKa, many thanks to the sponsor, singing rock.

The First European Jumar Trophy an 12. und 13. February 2007 in Abtenau, Austria was a great success. Participants from 5 nations had the chance to compare their jumar techniques, speed and shape. Competitions: 1.
Jumar basics Besides fun and competition, the Jumar Trophy provided a plattform to discuss safety and technical issiues all around Jumaring. With respactable times and stamina, Meike Kröger und Dietmar Koch, both from Germany, won the demanded trophy. |
