Licensing and Develoment of the SSB® System

 

 

 

 

Continuous safety in the ropes courses or in via ferratas, no possibility of the complete self unhooking of both karabiners - and nevertheless all advantages of a conventional lanyard set.

This setting of tasks is the basis behind the development of the SSB® system. A carbiner of the SSB® set only opens if the second carbiner is locked on a safe spot (e.g. steel cable).

Only a security system, which fulfills these objectives, has the chance to become generally accepted and hereby can protect climbers and participants in ropes courses.

The SSB® system not only meets theses objectives, it also provides a number of additional advantages, as for instance the purposeful controlling of the direction in which ropes course elements can be used or continuous safety for industrial climbing purposes.
